During the Start of Autumn, nai-plums in Rucheng County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province have ushered in the market period. In recent days, China Railway has actively contacted with fresh food distributors to open up the sales channels.
Efforts like sending pictures in Wechat groups and organizing employees to publicize have been made to attract consumers to buy more than 4,000 boxes of nai-plums, with a total sales of 20,000 kilograms and a value of 400,000 yuan.
Over the years, China Railway’s paired-up assistance group in Rucheng has worked to expand sales channels like “company + cooperative + farmers” and “e-commerce platform + products” in line with the development of local characteristic industries, forming a diversified long-term mechanism to help farmers and sales by “setting up platforms, creating mechanisms, connecting channels and building brands”.
The booming industrial production and sales not only help the farmers engaged in the industry increase their income, but also brings warmth to other people. Rucheng suppliers set up a charity fund with 1% of their sales. 100,000 yuan has been distributed to poor households and villagers.
