In autumn, the grain-drying activities are in full swing, serving as a window to get a glimpse of the affluent life of Rucheng County. There are 130,000 mu (about 8,666.67 hectares) of peppers, 50,000 mu (about 3,333.33 hectares) of gingers, 66,000 mu (4,400 hectares) of tea and 97,000 mu (about 6,466.66 hectares) of fruits in the whole county. It also built 9 vegetable farms for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and cultivated 1 national farmers’ professional cooperative and 25 leading agricultural enterprises, forming a provincial modern agricultural industrial park.

 

 

 

In recent years, Shazhou Yao Village has built itself into a Red tourist destination and followed a development path of agritourism.Last year, the per capita income of the village was 17,100 yuan and the collective income reached 705,000 yuan.
