Cold Dew fell on October 8 this year, marking a vegetable harvesting season. On that day, local farmers were busy in picking and loading vegetables at Xiangjiangyuan Vegetable Base, Beihu District, Chenzhou City.

At present, there are 19 vegetable enterprises (cooperatives) with a planting area of more than 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares) in Beihu District, including 15 enterprises (cooperatives) certified by the vegetable production bases of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
Thanks to these enterprises (cooperatives), 21,000 farmers have been employed. In recent years, with the model of “cooperatives + leading enterprises + farmers”, Beihu District has vigorously developed the vegetable industry and increase agricultural efficiency and farmers’ income.
