Chishi Bridge

The Chishi Bridge is a key control project of the Rucheng-Chenzhou section of the Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway, located in Chishi Town, Yizhang County, Hunan Province. The bridge was constructed on March 28, 2010 and opened to traffic on October 28, 2016.

The main bridge is 1,470 meters long, with four main towers ranging from 259.63 to 286.63 meters high, a main span of 380 meters and a deck of 186 meters above ground.

The Chishi Bridge spanning a valley looks majestic. Seen from a distance, the four main towers of the bridge are about 100 storeys high in an inverted Y-shape.

The opening of the Chishi Bridge has made it easier for people around to travel, and has also provided opportunities for agricultural products and  rural tourism.
