Hunan ranks 7th in business environment evaluation

The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (CFIC) announced the main conclusions of the annual survey of the 2022 "Evaluation of Business Environment by Ten Thousands of Private Enterprises" recently. Hunan Province ranked 7th nationwide in terms of the overall score, moving up one spot compared with last year.

 

Changsha City took the 6th place among all the cities (excluding municipalities directly under the central government), moving up three places from last year. Both Hunan Province and Changsha City topped China's western and central parts.

 

CFIC organized the 2022 evaluation between August and October this year, covering large, medium, small, and micro-sized private enterprises in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central government, and various industries across the country, to obtain a total score for the business environment. 
 
The survey showed that the satisfaction of private enterprises with the business environment has continued to rise for four consecutive years. 
 
The Top 10 provincial-level regions in the business environment were Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Beijing, Shandong, Hunan, Anhui, Sichuan, and Fujian. The Top 10 cities are Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Changsha, Nanjing, Suzhou, Qingdao, and Hefei.
 
In recent years, Hunan has furthered reforms to streamline administration and delegate power, improve regulation, and upgrade services; implemented the "Six Ones" work to promote the development of the private economy; continuously boosted the 'Five-good' industrial parks construction; and, accelerated fostering a market-oriented, law-based and international business environment. It has formed a profound atmosphere of respecting and enabling business. The provincial private economy has maintained steady growth.
