Health kits sent to rural residents

2023-01-07

Service teams were organized to send epidemic prevention health kits to the villages in Anren County recently. The kit contains antipyretic, masks, thermometers, and antigen reagents.

The majority of rural residents are the elderly and children, who are at high risk of COVID-19 infection. According to the early investigation of each village committee, the service teams have accurately delivered the drugs to the homes of the elderly and children under 3 years old, hoping to guarantee the life safety and physical health of the people.

At present, Anren County has distributed the first batch of 48,381 “health kits” to the elderly and 7,049 to children under 3 years of age.

In addition to sending epidemic materials, the service teams also brought medical training to the grass-roots public health centers.

Experts from Anren County People’s Hospital have formed a service team to go to the township health centers in the county to carry out training for rural doctors on the theme of the rational use of drugs to treat COVID-19 and the basic principles of respiratory treatment for patients with COVID-19 infection, and to convey to rural doctors the cutting-edge theories and precautions of COVID-19 patient treatment. Through the field guidance of the team composed of experts from the county-level hospital, the treatment capacity of the basic level hospitals for COVID-19 infection has been effectively improved.
