In early spring, the cherry blossoms in the Cherry Blossom Garden of the Guiyang Academy of Agricultural Sciences are blooming in the rain, attracting many tourists. Due to the recent continuous rainy weather and low temperature, the blooming period of cherry blossoms came later than that of previous years.
In the Cherry Blossom Garden, the drizzle, adding some romantic charm to the scene, and the beautiful cherry blossoms make for a poetic and ecological picture.
People stroll along the trail to feel the atmosphere of spring, with pink petals falling down. There are newly added facilities in the garden, generally pink in color, such as pink small trains, leisure chairs, heart-shaped sculptures, photo frames, post stations and corridors, making people immersed in the romantic feelings and take photos to record the beautiful moments.
The Cherry Blossom Garden of Guiyang Institute of Agricultural Sciences is the largest cherry blossom planting and appreciation park in southern Hunan at present, with 8 varieties of cherry blossoms, a core area of 300 mu (20 hectares), a planting area of more than 2,000 mu (about 133.3 hectares), and more than 30,000 cherry blossom trees.
It is reported that from February 15, Guiyang County is getting warmer and sunny days, and the cherry blossoms here will bloom in succession. “During the Cherry Blossom Festival, most cherry blossoms will be in full bloom. It will be the best time to view the flowers,” said Lei Aiyun.
The Cherry Blossom Festival will be held in Guiyang Cherry Blossom Garden from February 16 to February 18. This activity will draw numerous tourists for the blooming cherry blossoms in the Guiyang Cherry Blossom Garden and the surrounding areas, which will certainly further promote the cultural tourism of Guiyang county.
In recent years, based on the unique local landscapes, culture, climate resources and geographical advantages, Guiyang County has vigorously promoted the development of leisure vacation and rural tourism by creating rural landscapes, developing tourism routes to draw more tourists.
