In order to inherit and promote the traditional opera culture, the Furong School of Anren County recently held the opening ceremony of the intangible cultural heritage inheritance base as well as the launching ceremony of the traditional opera into schools.
At the launch ceremony, the actors from the Preservation and Inheritance Center of Flower-drum Opera performed some classic dramas, bringing a audio-visual feast for teachers and students, and letting the students have a close understanding of the local opera culture and experience the charm of opera.
As a bright pearl in the outstanding Chinese traditional culture, opera is the most distinctive cultural form of the Chinese nation, which combines verses, ditties, odes, songs, oral literature, music and dance, calligraphy, dance costumes, martial arts and acrobatics.
This is the first time that the Flower-drum Opera has entered the campus in Anren county. It allowed the students the chance to experience the outstanding Chinese traditional culture and the opportunity to perform on the stage. This played an important role in promoting the Chinese traditional culture and strengthening the popularization of opera knowledge.
