The vegetable planting base covers an area of 600 mu (40 hectares) and can produce more than 20,000 tons of seasonal vegetables such as winter melons, pumpkins, and potatoes every year. 

 

 

The products are sold directly to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as cities such as Changsha and Wuhan. More than 1,000 local households have been driven to plant characteristic selenium-rich vegetables, which helped achieved local employment and income growth.

 

In recent years, relying on the natural selenium-rich soil resources, the village has adopted modern, large-scale, and standardized planting methods, developed rural leisure tourism and sightseeing agriculture, and strengthened the brand of selenium-rich agricultural products, in a bid to achieve the integration of the three industries and promote enterprise development and prosperity for the people.
