Specialty fruit industry helps promote rural revitalization

During the Cold Dew season, the strawberry plantation base in Liuhuawan Village, Sandu Town, Zixing City, is bustling with agricultural activities as local farmers are busy carrying out management and care operations to ensure a fruitful harvest of strawberries this year.
In recent years, Zixing City has vigorously developed the specialty fruit industry, including honey pomelos, yellow peaches, strawberries, and loquats, relying on its favorable ecological environment and the tourism resources of Dongjiang Lake.
This expansion of income sources for farmers has attracted tourists to visit for sightseeing and picking, which helps promote rural tourism and contributes to rural revitalization efforts.
