The “employment market” in Yizhang County provides a streamlined process for job seekers. Within its service hall, individuals interested in employment are met with a team of dedicated staff who patiently answer queries, explain policies, assist with form completion, and facilitate the signing of intent letters. Following this, the relevant information is archived electronically.

The market allows employers to present their job openings on a “shelf” for job seekers to browse and select their preferred positions, enabling many to find their ideal jobs on the spot. One job seeker, Kuang Yangzheng, a chef with ten years of experience, was able to submit his intent letter with the assistance of a staff.

Yizhang’s “employment market” functions as an integrated employment service platform. It leverages the resources of the Chenzhou Talent Group and employs an “Internet+” approach. This model offers job seekers and employers free access to recruitment information, job guidance, and position recommendations through on-site job fairs, TikTok, job experience ambassadors, and WeChat public accounts.

The “employment market” plays a crucial role in addressing the final hurdles between employers and job seekers, with a specific focus on resolving employment and recruitment issues.

Since its launch in May 2023, the Yizhang “employment market” has organized 16 on-site job fairs, released 175 job recruitment videos, hosted 307 businesses, and provided over ten thousand job positions, with over 1,600 people finding suitable employment.

Yizhang County is planning to transform the “employment market” into a highly popular, service-oriented, and efficient job placement platform, aiming to integrate job resources from various regions, including the Greater Bay Area, the Hunan-Jiangxi border region, and Chenzhou City, to support rural labor employment.

These efforts will prioritize specific themes, foster inter-departmental collaboration, and pool resources, making the market an integral part of the local community. Alongside traditional on-site recruitment, Yizhang’s “employment market” will harness the internet through methods like job presentation via live-streaming and job experience officers for job recruitment.
