Chuanghong Family Farm was established by Liu Fangcao and her husband in 2022. They have grown chili peppers and strawberries, with good profits. Therefore, this year they also planted 7 mu (about 0.47 hectares) of millennial cherry tomatoes through pollution-free green planting technology.

 

After 5 months of production management, the fruits began to ripe in February this year, with an expected yield of about 2,500 kilograms per mu (about 0.067 hectares).

 

 

 

The price for picking in the orchard is 38 yuan for 1.5 kilograms, and the picking period can last until the end of April, with a production value of over 400,000 yuan. In addition, they also do wholesale and delivery services.

 

Millennium cherry tomatoes see hot sales and are in short supply on the market. Liu Fangcao said, “Next, we will continue pollution-free planting techniques to plant fruits, cucumbers, yellow tomatoes, red tomatoes, watermelons, and cantaloupes, to further promote the ecological picking tour in Chennan Village and Liuhuawan Ancient Village in Sandu Town.”
