After getting rid out of poverty, Huangjia Village was developed into a provincial demonstration village for rural revitalization.

 

In January 2021, to develop and strengthen the village collective economy, a branch farm was established in the village, which transferred 160 mu (10.67 hectares) of idle land and introduced Fujian Golden No.1 Tea to develop the tea industry. In 2023, the branch farm began trial production and achieved an income of over 10,000 yuan.

 

Now, more than 20 people in the village from once poverty-stricken families are hired to pick tea leaves. They can earn 100 yuan a day by picking tea leaves.

 

 

Now, the tea garden is still in the trial production period, and it’s expected to bring more than 20,000 yuan to the collective economic income of the village every year. 

 

The collective industries of Huangjia Village include photovoltaic power, fish pond aquaculture and others. It’s expected that the village’s collective economic income can reach about 400,000 yuan this year.
