It’s now the season for picking tea leaves. Tea farmers in the town are busy picking tea leaves and then supply them to the market. 

 

In recent years, the town government has focused on the development of the tea industry to enrich the people. 

 

Workers skillfully operate the devices in the greenhouses to cultivate seedlings at Sanhe Fragrance Rice Professional Farmers’ Cooperative in Huatang Town, Beihu District, Chenzhou City.

 

This year, the cooperative added 6 seedling transplanters and 2 rice dryers to further improve the mechanization level and promote the quality and efficiency of agricultural production. This was an active response to such policy requirements as management of abandoned farmland and preventing the conversion of arable land for non-agricultural uses and farmers’ transitioning away from planting grain on farmland.
