Chenzhou is a city of sports and champions. Last year, the first Chenzhou Lindan Cup attracted about 1,000 athletes from 9 countries and regions including China, Malaysia and Thailand.

Here are some high spots of this year’s Chenzhou Lindan Cup Badminton Open. 

 

 

 

There will be competitions for men’s singles, youth and mixed groups. The men’s singles competition and the mixed group competition will be held from July 18 to 21, while the youth match will be held from July 17 to 21. There will be group matches, elimination series, eight-finals, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. 

 

In addition, the total prize money of the event reaches 509,000 yuan and the total reward exceeds 2 million yuan. The men’s singles champion prize money is 200,000 yuan. It will further provide players with a better gaming experience, a larger competition platform for young badminton enthusiasts. The event is more international, with improved scale and quality, which will effectively promote the integrated development of urban culture, sports and tourism.

All participating athletes can enjoy free admission tickets for scenic spots like Dongjiang Lake, Mangshan National Forest Park and Yangtian Lake, and enjoy a 30% discount on tickets to Wuzhi Peak of Mangshan Mountain.
