“In spite of disability, I can earn money at the doorstep, which brings me more hope for life,” said Zhang Xuemei, a villager from Baishui Village in Qiaotou Township, who was packaging toys. Years ago, she was unfortunately amputated due to an accident. With the help of a prosthetic, she and her husband overcame numerous difficulties in life.

 

In the workshop of the company, there are more than 10 disabled workers like Zhang Xuemei. The head of the workshop said that the workshop is the home of the workers. Harder everyone works hard, more profits the workshop can make, and more income  they will get.  

 

In recent years, Qiaotou Township has made efforts to attract enterprises to settle in to offer jobs to financially difficult and disadvantaged groups.
