The “Eagle Flight Plan” program is an early training program for aviation talents initiated by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA). 

 

It mainly carries out aviation enlightenment education activities for young people nationwide for public welfare, aiming to promote patriotism, stimulate national defense enthusiasm, and cultivate a large number of aspiring aviation youth talents for national defense and the military.

 

In China, low-altitude economy is flourishing. It was listed as a strategic emerging industry at this year’s central economic work conference.

 

In recent years, the county government has actively made plans for low-altitude economy and worked to build a new hub for the development of the aviation industry. 

 

In 2017, Hunan Xiangdonglong Aircraft Company settled in Guiyang County.

 

Over the past seven years, with the help of policies and talents, the company has achieved significant achievements in aviation services, aviation manufacturing, flight training and other areas. And it has quickly become a leading domestic aviation aircraft chain enterprise. 

 

The first light sports all-metal fixed wing aircraft, XL100, independently developed by the company, obtained the TC (Type Certificate ) and PC (Production License) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China in June and December 2020. It now has batch production capacity and is fully put on the market.

 

 

 

In 2023, in response to the needs of national emergency rescue and different low-altitude application scenarios, the company has also developed XL101 patrol fire extinguishers and XL102 communication relays. These two products will enter the market within this year.

 

The XDL600 is a 2-ton normal class multi-purpose passenger/cargo aircraft that fills the domestic gap, and will make its first flight by the end of the year. 

 

At present, the company is collaborating with universities to develop industrial drones, EVTOL, hydrogen fuel cell aircraft and other projects.

 

 

 

At the event site, the government of Guiyang County signed an application flight service agreement with Hunan Xiangdonglong Aircraft. Hunan Xiangdonglong Aircraft delivered the key symbolizing the aircraft to Jiangxi Aviation Vocational and Technical College and other institutions, and issued the certificate of change of flight and training qualification to the first batch of pilots and maintenance training personnel of Yangtze River Navigation.
