2024-07-10

Villagers were busy picking and baking bamboo fungus mushrooms at Fangrun Agriculture Duoduohao Morel and Bamboo Fungus Mushroom Planting Base in Qingjiang Village, Feitianshan Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou City on July 7.

“We planted bamboo fungus in March this year and have been picking bamboo fungus for 20 days now,” said Li Wei, the person in charge of the base. The base adopts a rotation model of bamboo fungus and morel mushrooms. 30 mu (2 hectares) of bamboo fungus has been planted this year, with the harvesting period from June to October. Sometimes, more than 500 kilograms of fresh bamboo fungus can be harvested in a day.

This year, 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares) of idle land has been revitalized in Qingjiang Village to create a vegetable base. Guided by market demand, the village has made efforts to promote the development of characteristic agricultural industries by transforming its resources and ecological advantages into products, industry, and development advantages.
