Tanghuli Village is adjacent to Mangshan Forest Park, a national 4A scenic spot. The Dongjiang-Yangjia tourism highway can directly lead to the Wuzhi Peak of Mangshan Mountain. It has rich hot spring resources and a unique industrial pattern with five advantageous industries of hot spring tourism, homestay and hotel, oil tea cultivation, white arrowhead cultivation, and special fish farm breeding.
In recent years, Tanghuli Village has made the best of collective resources to drive the common prosperity of villagers.
It has won many honorary titles, including a provincial civilized village, a provincial demonstration village for beautiful countryside and an advanced primary-level Party organization in Yizhang County.
Tanghuli Village boasts rich underground hot spring resources. The hot spring, with a water temperature of 42 to 52 degrees Celsius, is rich in minerals and trace elements such as lithium, strontium, zinc and iodine. A development system for hot spring tourism based on hot spring services has been built.
There are over 40 hot spring hotels, including eight large-scale hot spring hotels, one special guesthouse, 2 hot spring water parks and 44 family hot spring hotels.
There are over 800 villagers engaged in the hot spring tourism, accounting for over 50% of the local workforce. The village receives about 300,000 tourists annually, with over 60% of its income from hot spring tourism.
