Rucheng Chaotian pepper, planted in the “golden climate ecological zone” located at 25 ° N latitude, is a traditional local chili pepper variety with a long planting history and prominent local characteristics. It grows facing the sky, with a bright color, high drying rate, strong aroma, and cooking resistance.

 

 

 

In recent years, the pepper industry in Rucheng County has made significant progress, with the planting area expanding to 130,000 mu (about 8,666.67 hectares) and an annual output of 300,000 tons. It has been awarded the advantage area of Chinese characteristic agricultural products (Rucheng Chaotian peppers), the standardized production base of national green food raw materials (Chaotian peppers), and the pepper special town in Hunan Province. It is also a public brand of “Rucheng Chaotian peppers” and has won the gold award of the provincial authentic excellent food ingredients.

 

Rucheng small yellow ginger is characterized by its large size, thin skin, beautiful appearance, strong aroma, persistent spiciness, and strong deodorizing effect. It has a cultivation history of over a hundred years and is a traditional industry in Rucheng County.

 

 

 

In recent years, Rucheng County has made efforts to develop the large-scale cultivation of small yellow ginger, established leading ginger enterprises and Rucheng Small Yellow Ginger Industrial Park, and built the largest small yellow ginger cold chain distribution center in the south of China.

 

At present, there are 50,000 mu (about 3,333.33 hectares) of small yellow ginger in the county, with the output value of the entire industry chain exceeding 2 billion yuan.
