At the Hunan Province Lithium New Energy Industry and Solid State Battery Product Cooperation Matchmaking Conference, Hunan Dazhong Mine, as a representative of the advanced energy storage material industry in the province, made a speech. 

 

In October 2022, Hunan Dazhonghe Company officially settled in Linwu. Relying on advantageous resources of Jijiaoshan Lithium Mine, the company innovates the lepidolite process to reduce costs. 

 

The transportation tunnel is 7.3 kilometers long and is constructed using TBM tunneling machines, which is safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly. This is also the first of its kind in China.

 

Zhang Jie, general manager of Hunan Dazhonghe Lithium Mine, said that the company will adhere to the principle of green development. 

 

When it comes to the lithium power project in Linwu County, the company will comprehensively implement the green mine development strategy, striving to build Jijiaoshan Mine into a national green mine and 4A level scenic mine. It will also attach importance to environmental governance, and create a green ecological model.

 

The local government also attaches great importance to and provide strong efforts for the development of the new energy industry. 

 

On the other hand, the booming development of enterprises has also created job opportunities for locals. 

 

“Hunan Dazhonghe will actively participate in industry chain conferences both inside and outside the region, actively seek cooperation opportunities with industry leaders, strengthen communication and coordination with downstream enterprises in terms of construction scale and project construction timing, and form a close synergy.”

 

Hunan Joysun ABT is jointly established by Sichuan ABT, Hunan Joysun New Energy Company, and Linwu County Shunli Industry Fund Partnership Enterprise, focusing on the manufacturing and sales of high-entropy all-solid state lithium batteries. 

 

The company officially settled in Linwu late March this year, and has completed the upgrading and transformation of the existing1GWH lithium-ion batteries, achieving mass production of high entropy all solid state lithium batteries.

 

Zhang Xiaokun, president and chief technology officer of the Central Research Institute of Sichuan ABT, said that the reasons why the company chose to settle in Linwu County are that the abundant mineral resources in Chenzhou which provide a strong guarantee for the raw materials of solid-state batteries, the good foundation in the lithium battery industry in Linwu County, and the determination and efforts of the local government to build a lithium battery industrial cluster, as well as the high-level investment promotion services. 

 

In the future, the company will plan more solid-state battery production lines, and cultivate more talents in the new energy industry, further expand the new energy industry, attract more upstream and downstream enterprises to Linwu, promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading of the new energy industry, in a bid to create a new business card for the industrial development of Linwu. 

 

“We can explore how to build an industry alliance. On the one hand, by establishing strategic partnerships with different upstream and downstream enterprises, we can strengthen the sharing of information and technology. On the other hand, by jointly developing new technologies, we can accelerate the generation of new quality production capacity for lithium batteries in the local area of Linwu,” said Zhang Xiaokun.
