The Hunan Food Festival event was launched in Beijing on October 16. 30 agricultural enterprises authorized by “Chenpin Chenwei”, a public brand from Chenzhou City, presented authentic Chenzhou food and high-quality agricultural products.
The event aimed to promote Chenzhou’s characteristic cuisine and agricultural products in Beijing, advance industrial expansion, increase enterprise efficiency and farmers’ income, and help rural revitalization.
During the event, chefs from Chenzhou presented four cold dishes, including Guiyang Zilongjun diced pork in pot, Liangye dried tofu, Anren pepper, Rucheng small yellow ginger, 12 hot dishes, such as Linwu duck, Dongjiangla fish head with chopped chili, Matian beef, roast chicken, Mangshan black dolphin, Heping tofu in chicken soup, Mangshan bitter bamboo shoots, and scalded seasonal vegetable, as well as 2 snacks, namely, Fucheng rice dumplings, fried Dahe glutinous rice cake.
At the same time, 56 Chenzhou characteristic agricultural products, such as Anren Shengping rice, Suxian Qifengdu fish rice noodles, Linwu Shunhua duck, Zixing Dongjiang fish, Guiyang Heping tofu, and Guidong Lilo tea, allowing diners and consumers to savor Chenzhou’s unique flavors.
Chenzhou has superior resources, excellent ecology, beautiful scenery, and countless delicious foods. In recent years, Chenzhou has promoted the development of high-quality, distinctive, and branded agriculture, made efforts to develop “Chenpin Chenwei” regional public brand, connected the production chain, supply chain, and consumption chain to ensure seamless connection from the source of food to the people’s dining tables. It has embarked on its unique agricultural development path to advance the high-quality development of modern agriculture in Hunan.
