New business circle activates consumption

Citizens and tourists tasted delicious snacks at Yongxing Square Night Market Park on the evening of November 24.

The park is located in the center of the county. After the renovation was completed in January this year, it has gathered multiple well-known catering brands, including a specialty food and beverage area of over 3,000 square meters, children’s entertainment facilities of over 3,000 square meters, and a citizen leisure park of over 4,000 square meters. 
 
Since its opening, it has attracted numerous residents to come for consumption with its complete public service facilities and rich consumer formats. 
 
“Here is a large flow of people. In addition to the appeal of well-known brands, we often hold various cultural and commercial promotional activities to attract more people,” said Dai Lanlan, the project manager of Yongxing Square Night Market Park.

Currently, Yongxing Square Night Market Park has achieved the goal of holding festivals every month and activities every week. Through continuous festivals and events, it has gathered more customers, making it now a new business card for consumption in Yongxing.
 
Since the beginning of this year, the county government has actively rolled out measures to promote consumption, helped major commercial districts and enterprises to carry out discount shopping activities such as the New Year’s Goods Festival, Silver Procurement Festival, and Food Festival during major holidays. 
 
At the same time, it has also vigorously implemented subsidy and preferential actions for consumer goods, and cultivated and strengthened business entities for trade-ins of consumer goods. 
 
51 enterprises in the automotive, home appliance, home decoration industries were organized to participate in the activities, directly driving sales of various consumer goods of more than 50 million yuan.
 
“We have fully activated the potentials of commercial enterprises and further optimized the consumption scenes.” Xu Xian, secretary of the local commerce authority, said that a new business circle with Ganjin Road as the core, urban complexes like Yongxing Plaza, People’s Park, Binjiang Xintiandi has been formed, with 23 online commercial enterprises added.
 
Among them, China Yindu Cultural and Creative Park has been rated as a provincial-level demonstration zone for nighttime cultural tourism consumption agglomeration.
 
In addition, the county government has also innovated a consumption mode, given full play to the advantages of the digital business cluster of China Yindu Cultural and Creative Park, cooperated with Douyin Group to build China Yindu Douyin Industrial Belt, and guided online platforms like online shopping and short video applications to strengthen cooperation with physical stores. 
 
At the same time, it has also developed a new business model of “online promotion plus in-store consumption”, carried out online and offline promotion activities, increased efforts to cultivate e-commerce entities, expanded e-commerce shopping,  established and improved the e-commerce sales network for agricultural products.
 
In the first ten months of this year, the total retail sales of social consumer goods in Yongxing county reached 12.07 billion yuan.
