Recently, main venues and demonstration sites for the 2025 National “Village Gala” have been released by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Xiling Village of Mangshan Yao Township in Yizhang County, Chenzhou City made the list.

In recent years, Xiling Village has developed characteristic industries such as catering, homestay inns, black dolphin breeding, and high mountain tea based on ecological resources and being adjacent to the Mangshan Mountain Tourist Area. It has also regularly launched folk activities with unique local characteristics such as Menban (door plank) banquets, drum dance competitions, and bonfire parties to increase villagers’ income.
