Water pollution treatment is the most important issue for papermaking enterprises. The concern over increasing needs for drinking water and awareness for development of systems to improve water quality both for drinking purposes and for effluents from wastewater treatment and industrial facilities have provided incentives to develop new technologies and improve performance of existing technologies. It was learned from Chenzhou Yunong Paper Ltd., Co. that 60 million yuan had been spent buying advanced industrial sewage treatment patent technology to meet the demand of water pollution treatment. Now, this new technology introduced from Netherland Paques Environment Protection Devices Ltd., Co. has officially put into operation.

Thanks to the Netherland company’s advanced patent technologies, the muddy sewage was dramatically turned to be clear stream after many treatment procedures. It was introduced by the paper company’s principal that they were on the process of building a fish pool which will be used for its disposed water.

It was learned that Paques was with the top level sewage anaerobic treatment worldwide, which had established about 1000 sewage treatment factories with the anaerobic treatment feature. Among them, 200 factories are for paper industry. After using this treatment device, the disposed water of Chenzhou Yunong company can well meet the national dispose standard and set a good example for environment protection.

Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou city- Shou Jianzhong led a team with municipal subordinate departments’ leaders and visited Chenzhou Yunong company’s for learning production, devices’ performance, and qualified water dispose. Meanwhile, Shou encouraged the paper company to accelerate the project construction to form the practical productivity.
