It was learned that Zixing high definition provincial demonstration of highway monitoring station was placed to operation recently. The new station which is“Hunan provincial demonstration highway overload monitoring station”is located on the right side of K3+400 meters of Zixing-Wulipai section.

Once Zixing- Wulipai highway placed to operation in 2012, the traffic flow became much heavier, especially the trucks to Zixing Industrial Park via Wulipai and Chenyong Avenue increased sharply. So the previous simple overload monitoring station can’t meet the practical demands well. In order to adapt to the new transportation network structure and meet the demands of Chenzhou city’s establishment of “Hunan provincial demonstration of highway overload monitoring station”, Zixing city launched the project of high definition provincial demonstration of highway overload monitoring station on May 22, 2014 with the authority of Zixing Government.

The project was covered with 11million yuan investment and 11.9mu lands. Fixed pound scale, digital network overload monitoring system, parking lot, unload yield, rear service, and etc. were facilitated there. The new station is not just in charge of monitoring the overload of trucks, but also takes charge of collection of taxes and fees of minerals, detection of woods, public security, and etc.

The overload monitoring station plays an active role on perfecting the overload monitoring network, establishing long-term overload monitoring mechanism, restraining the overload transportation, protecting the safety of highways and bridges, and etc. after being placed to operation.
