Xianghua Popular Science Research and Education Tourism Camp Project is the second phase of Birdsong Biodiversity Cultural Tourism Industry Chain Project in Xianghua Village.

 

Its main function is to provide places for science popularization, research, education and other related activities to cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development, increase their awareness of the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and create a demonstration area for rural revitalization.

 

 

This livelihood project attracted investment from Tangdong Subdistrict in Zixing City in 2022, with a total investment of 200 million yuan. 

 

The first phase of the project has an investment of 5 million yuan. Centering on Chengzikai School in Tangdong Subdistrict, it has built a bird science popularization and education museum that integrates science popularization, research and tourism, which has bird culture science popularization and education function with multiple elements, such as high-definition video of bird ecological environment, origin of bird culture, bird living habits, bird identification and interaction, bird specimen display, bird photography exhibition.

 

The museum was officially opened on May 22 and has received a lot of tourists and praise since the opening.

 

Xianghua Village is a habitat for migratory birds along their migration route. The Xianghua Birdsong Biodiversity Cultural Tourism Industry Chain Project is a milestone in creating a beautiful ecological business impression of Dongjiang Lake. 

 

 

In the second phase of the project, the original Xianghua Township government will be transformed into Xianghua Birdsong Science Popularization and Education Tourism Camp, the reception center and park for accommodation and wellness tourism. In the later stage of the project, a biodiversity wetland reserve with an area of 10 square kilometers will be built around Xianghua Village.

 

What’s more, a protection base will be gradually built that integrates the science popularization, research, culture and tourism of biodiversity, such as the popular science museum of animals, plants and microorganisms, the off campus labor practice hall for primary and secondary school students, and the ecological health tourism hall.
