Xu Shousheng- Deputy Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Governor- and members of Hunan core delegation and Chenzhou delegation took visits to Dongyuan group and Delta group on June 14. It was learned from their visits that Dongyuan group would invest in wind power station and wind power sets production in Chenzhou and Delta group would upgrade products’technological elements of Chenzhou factory.

June 14th could be described as Chenzhou Day for most of the time of Xu Shousheng was used in the visit of those well-known enterprises closely related to the Chenzhou.

Honorary Chairman of Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Board and Director of Dongyuan group- Huang maoxiong, President of Dongyuan group- Liu Zhaokai, and President of Delta electronics group- Zheng Chonghua attended this activity. Deputy Governor of Hunan province- He Baoxiang and General Secretary of Hunan Government- Dai Daojing accompanied Xu for these visits. Chenzhou delegation led by Chenzhou Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Party Committee and Chenzhou Mayor-Qu Hai also participated in the investigation.

Dongyuan group was established in 1956 by Liu Zhaokai who was from Hengyang, Hunan. The group was improved from motor manufacturer to be a high technology enterprise on heavy electrical, home appliances, information, electronics, key components, fundamental project construction, financial investment and etc.. Now it is the third largest electrical machines manufacturer in the world. Nangang software park is the first software park in Taiwan. It gatheres more than 3000 Taiwan enterprises and world famous high technology enterprises with over 120 billion annual gross output value, which helped Taiwan to be the software center in Asia. During the visit, Liu Zhaokai announced that the group would invest in the construction of wind power set manufacturing base in Chenzhou, and would work with Datang power group to have wind power station well developed in Chenzhou.

Delta electronics is one of the most famous electronics groups located in Taiwan with over 100,000 workers worldwide. It is one of the Top 100 IT industries in the world, and is the largest adapter manufacturer in the world covering over 28% of the market. Delta group’s investment began from 2007 which was divided into three sections. The second section will be finished at the end of 2012 with the estimated production output value of 500 million dollars. Zhen Chonghua stated that there was good basic condition of hardware and software for the investment. Now the group is planning to introduce more advanced production line into Chenzhou for improving the technology elements of the products produced in Chenzhou.

After learning the detailed development of the groups, Xu highly congratulated the fast improvement for the groups in recent years. He said that it is Chinese people’s proud to have such excellent enterprises as the two groups, and it is necessary and helpful for all the enterprises learn from the two groups of their hardworking and creations. Now it is a good and fast development stage of Hunan province, especially for Chenzhou city which is with national support on improving to be the new industrial development zone. As the industrial concentrated zone, Chenzhou’s infrastructure as express ways are under good construction. There would be great cooperation space between Chenzhou and the Taiwan enterprises in future. Meanwhile, Hunan province will provide the good investment condition and service for the investors.

After introducing the basic condition of Chenzhou city and Taiwan enterprises improvement in Chenzhou, Qu Hai said it was a trip for friendship and cooperation. Good resources, geography location, and traffic advantages of Chenzhou city can combine better with the famous enterprises’s technology, talents and international market experience to reach the win-win situation. Chenzhou government warmly welcomes Taiwan enterprises to invest in Chenzhou city and develop together.
