On June 13, the cross-strait industrial cooperation intercommunications were held by Chenzhou government in Taibei city. Chenzhou as well as the local government shared the experience with each other for further cooperation. Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city- Quhai gave a speech relating to Chenzhou during the conference and strongly invited attendants to go to Cheznhou for further mutual exchange and cooperation.

Many chief businessmen from Taiwan economy association and famous enterprises were presented at the conference.

Zhang Hanwen, the honorary director of national Taiwan compatriots’ investment enterprise association and honorary president of Jushen electronics, has been to Chenzhou for many times. He said at the conference: “I seriously recommend that Chenzhou is full of expectation for glorious development, and is worth your time for a visit and investment there.”. Secretary of Taiwan industrials’ association- Cai Liansheng mentioned that there were 155 industry associations in Taiwan industrials’ association with 100,000 enterprises, among which 70,000 enterprises had invested in the mainland. Cai also said though he had never been to Chenzhou, he sincerely hoped he could have a better understanding of it and achieved the target of “you have me and I have you”.

Qu Hai stated that there were many Taiwan compatriots in Chenzhou, and frequent economy, trade and culture communications were reached between Taiwan and Chenzhou. Especially in the current years, the cooperation sprang up between Taiwan and Chenzhou. Delta electronics, Jushen electronics, Weisheng electronics and other Taiwan enterprises settled down in Chenzhou. Now Delta Electronics Group is developing well in Chenzhou, so do Electronics, Stella International Holdings, and the recent settled Foxcoon. Chenzhou will continue to support the development of Taiwan-funded enterprises, and will improve the environment and service to guarantee its further development.

Qu also said: “the reason why we come to Taiwan to hold cross-strait industrial cooperation intercommunications is not only to call on friends , but also to deepen friendship, expand cooperation.” He also added that Chenzhou warmly welcomed the guests, friends and people from all walks to go to Chenzhou for visiting friends, tourist, commercial investigation and industrial cooperation. ”

Principals of Taiwan commercial association and enterprises delivered their speeches at the conference. All of them presented that though there was less knowledge of Chenzhou before this conference, they were impressed by Chenzhou’s superior investment environment and resources and willing to invest in Chenzhou in future.

Liao Yuegui- member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, Chenzhou Municipal Ministry of Organization, and Chenzhou Municipal United Front Work Department-hosted the conference.
