It was reported that an inaugural meeting for the establishment of Chenzhou Merchants Chamber of Shenzhen City was held in Shenzhen city on December 21, 2014, which indicated that the chamber started its work on the promotion of economy and reaching win-win situation between Chenzhou and Shenzhen city.

It was introduced that more than 220 members joined in the chamber, including different ones from different economic fields. The first board of directors and chairman of the board were elected out in the meeting. Long Renfu- the entrepreneur from Anren county and Director of Shenzhen Yixianglong Investment Development Co., Ltd. was elected to be the chairman of the board.

In the inaugural meeting, Long Renfu promised to all the county-fellows from Chenzhou city who handle their businesses in Guangdong province that the first board of the council would follow the principal of “service-oriented” and the general idea of “support the chamber by merchants, promote the chamber by merchants, and win-win cooperation” to improve the chamber to be a homeland, harbor, booster and celebration site for Chenzhou merchants in Shenzhen city, and to be good bridge and communication belt between Chenzhou and Shenzhen city.
