The amount of 10 foreign trade companies covered 84% of total import-export trade volume of Chenzhou city

It was learned from Chenzhou Commerce Bureau that the total import-export trade volume of Chenzhou city hit USD536.08million in the first quarter, up 1.15%, including USD296.69million export trade volume, up 23.03%, and USD239.39million import trade volume, down 17.12%. The total import-export trade volume, export trade volume and import trade volume ranked the 4th, 5th ans 2nd place of Hunan province respectively. 

From January to March, total import-export trade volume of 10 main foreign trade companies hit USD450.30million, covering 84% of the total of Chenzhou city. The companies which were with over USD10million amount in the first quarter were as follow: Xiangcheng High-tech, Yuteng Non-ferrous, Jingui Silver, Xiangyuan Refines, Guoda Non-ferrous, Jinyang Trade, Jinwang Bismuth, Borui Metals, Delta Electronics, and Chengcheng Metals. The private companies played a leading role on the foreign trade that the total import-export volume was amounted to USD 476million with an increase of 9.95%, covering 88% of the total. The total import-export volume of the state-owned companies was amounted to USD4.52million with a decrease of 40.84%,,covering less than 1%, while the total import-export volume of foreign enterprises was amounted to USD55.36million with a decrease of 37.96%, covering 11% of the total.
