On June 1, 2015, Chenzhou delegation visited Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong , HK Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd., China Small Towns Construction Co., Ltd. and etc. Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee stated on the investigation that Chenzhou would keep opening up, enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of investment attraction and promote profound cooperation between HK and Chenzhou to improve Chenzhou city’s development.

Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong which is one of the most representative public industries and commerce groups was established in 1934. More than 3000 members from different industries were registered in this association. Its key projective is to promote the industrial communication and cooperation between China mainland and HK.

Yi stated on the symposium, Chenzhou city is with unique ecology condition and resources. It would keep opening up to find more chances to work together with the merchants. Yi also expressed his hope that further cooperation would be enhanced between HK and Chenzhou to create more chances and reach win-win cooperation. Xu Bingguang- Vice President of Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong and President of Mainland Affairs Committee of the association, and Guo Zhenghua- Director of Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, member of CPPCC, and president of Sham Shui Po District Council stated that Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong would pay closer attention on Chenzhou to seize more chances to work together with Chenzhou city.

Yi Pengfei and his delegation investigated HK Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd. afterward and met with Wang Wei- President of HK Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd. It was introduced that Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd. was registered and established in July 1981 in HK and now is owned by Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. In May, 1996, Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd. of Shanghai Industrial Group was listed in HK. The total assets of Shanghai Industrial Group are HK$260 billion. It becomes the largest scale and most powerful comprehensive oversea enterprise of Shanghai and also becomes one of the most representative China-invested enterprises of HK. Currently, Shanghai Industrial Group is cooperating with Chenzhou High-tech Holdings Co., Ltd. of Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park on financing lease businesses. The paid-in capitals was amounted to one billion yuan.

Yi Pengfei listened carefully to the introduction and stated that Chenzhou city paid high attention on the cooperation with Shanghai Industrial Group and hoped more cooperation on fitness, cultural tourism, bio-pharmacy, modern logistics, and etc. would be reached between two parties to promote the upgrading of Chenzhou city’s industry. Wang Wei said the Group would enhance further cooperation with Chenzhou city by playing best advantages of the group, Chenzhou city’s sound resources and location condition.

In the afternoon, Chenzhou delegation visited China Small Towns Construction Co., Ltd. It was learned that China Small Towns Construction Co., Ltd. was established in 2010. Its main functions are introducing oversea and domestic funds to support small and medium-sized towns’ construction funds and undertake the management of investment, financing, construction and operation of infrastructure and public projects of the small and medium-sized towns. Currently, “Xiang Tianxia- Liaojiang small town” which was cooperated by the company and Zixing city was being carried out by one of its branches- Shenzhen Zhongjing Investment and Development Co., Ltd. The total investment of it was amounted to one billion yuan and now it was being promoted to the development of agricultural portfolio. Feng Jinlong- President of the board of the company stated that Chenzhou city is with sound ecological and development condition which is suitable for the promotion of modern and new small town. In the following step, the company would pay more efforts to accelerate the construction of the project and try to finish it sooner with effects.
