It was learned from Chenzhou Municipal Development and Reform Committee that 6 wind power projects of Chenzhou city were enrolled into “notice for issuing the 5th batch wind power approved projects of ‘twelfth five-year’” which was released by National Energy Administration.

It was introduced that the 6 projects were as follow: Wuling Electricity Chenzhou Rucheng Shiziling wind power plant project, first phase of Huadian Chenzhou Yongxing Youma wind power plant, second phase of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Company Chenzhou Guiyang Qinglan wind power plant, Sinohydro Renewable Energy Company Chenzhou Beihu Jiankou wind power plant, Sinohydro Consulting Company Chenzhou Guiyang Liantang wind power plant, and Chenzhou Zixing Bamianshan wind power plant. 35 approved projects of all are from Hunan province, accounting for 1.80million kilowatts installed capacity. Chenzhou city’s projects took 17% of the total numbers of Hunan province with the total installed capacity of 0.3million kilowatts, accounting for 17% of the total of Hunan province as well.

From 2015, the wind power projects which were under construction were promoted fluently in Chenzhou city. The first wind turbine generator of Rucheng Donggangling wind power plant which was covered with 450million yuan and the total installed capacity of 50MW had been installed successfully. It was estimated to be placed to operation in the end of this July. It is the first wind power project of the county. In this May, Linwu Zhennan wind power plant which was invested by Mid-South Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. of Power Construction Corporation of China was started in Linwu county. It is 7th wind power projects of the county covered with 473million yuan investment. 25 wind turbine generators with the installed capacity of 2MW each would be installed there, accounting for 50MW installed capacity in total. Its annual on-grid energy would be 96.79million kwh, which can help save 32,000tons of coal. It was estimated to be finished in the end of 2015. Huaneng Guidong wind power plant which was started in last June was being promoted rapidly. Some work as the construction of main body of booster station, installation and testing of equipments, and etc. has been finished. It was estimated that all 42 wind turbine generators can be combined to the grid in the end of this August.
