When reporters arrived at Yingdong Yao Minority Town of Rucheng County, the farmers were busy with picking up the 5000mu oranges which got good harvest this year.
Because of the oranges produced there are juicy and delicious, but with thin skin, they are very popular in the market. Many are delivered to Guangdong, Fujian and Jiangxi province. In recent years, the town paid more attention on planting and marketing of the oranges and took more attention on the training of skills. It helped them to expand the market and tried to adjust the industrial structure, which obtained great effects.

Currently, there are over 5000mu oranges with annual production capacity of more than 10,000tons available in the town. The orange industry became one of the most important industries to increase local people’s income.
