It was reported that Xu Xiangping- Director of Hunan Commercial Department and Li Duizhen- Director of Changsha Customs led a team to investigate the foreign trade of Chenzhou city on July 7, 2016.

The investigation team visited Jingui Silver, Jinwang Bismuth, and Xiangyun Fine Chemicals and listened to their working reports on production & operation, exportation, order, and etc. A symposium was held afterward with the representatives of 7 foreign trade companies of Chenzhou city. They helped to solve the problems hindered on the way of further development of the companies and interpreted relative policies concerned about silver concentrate processing trade as well.

It was learned that though under high pressure of economic downstream, 15 enterprises of Chenzhou city achieved zero break of foreign trade in this year. According to the statistics, total volume of Chenzhou city’s foreign trade was amounted to USD664 million in the first 5 months. It was estimated that total volume can hit USD900 million in the first half year. According to the estimation of the representatives of 18 enterprises which attended the symposium, the total volume can hit USD2.8 billion in 2016.

The investigation team highly affirmed the achievements gained by Chenzhou city on the foreign trade and proposed some comments and suggestions on the conference. As required by the team, silver concentrate processing should be kept being improved without compromising to fulfilling the annual tasks on time. The situation of local foreign trade companies should be well studied, as well as the product and market, so the increasing point can be handled correctly. The approval procedures should be simplified to provide more convenient services for the companies. “Management solution for silver concentrate processing” should be figured out sooner, so the rectification and improvement of the industry can be carried out accordingly on the basis of inspection standards.
