It was learned from Chenzhou Government that some new favorable policies on promoting investment, encouraging innovation, enhancing marketing force, and other two aspects were issued by Chenzhou city to forge one-hundred-billion LED industrial cluster.

In order to increase the investment support, Chenzhou city would provide device investment support for some new or extended projects on LED industrial chain’s extensions, chips, packaging, application, substrates, materials, and etc. The device investment which was lower 50million yuan (including 50million yuan) would be favored with a special fund with the amount of 6% of the total volume by beneficiary finance. Concerned for the device investment which was over 50million yuan, its part over 50million yuan would be favored with 8% support by the beneficiary finance. For the investment which was over 100million yuan and the enterprise headquarter settled down in Chenzhou city, it would be followed the way of “one case, one solution”to get the support. Once the project awarded with China famous brand, Hunan provincial famous-brand product or Hunan provincial famous trademark, more favorable reward would be provided by the beneficiary finance.

A batch of LED lighting demonstration project would be implemented by Chenzhou city, such as forging “Chen-Zi-Gui”core demonstration belt of LED lighting, building 10 demonstration sites of LED landscape lighting, and launching LED demonstration project of indoor illumination to establish 100 demonstration units of LED lighting and reach the target of LED lighting for all streets, main public places and public departments in 5 years.

Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park would be as the key point for the layout and construction of LED industrial park. All the LED projects which would be settled down in the park would be favored with simplified procedures, joint approval, priority of usage of land and introduction of high level talents. It was aimed to reach following targets in 2020: being 100million-yuan scale of LED industry, cultivation of 2 ten-billion-yuan scale enterprises and one national technological center (project center or research & development center), establishment of the industrial system covering the upper, middle and lower reaches with the key points of chip manufacturing and R&D design and manufacturing of application products, and being one of the important LED industrial bases in central and western regions of China.
