The total amount of its wind power plants ranked the first place in Hunan province

It was learned from wind power office of Linwu county that in the beginning of 2015, Dachong Wind Power Plant of Linwu county was combined to the grid. It indicated a new great achievements gained by Linwu county on the construction of new energy county. Till now, there are 5 wind power plants available in Linwu county, which ranked the first place in Hunan province.

As a new energy, wind power project is significant for the structure of industrial economy. In recent years, Linwu paid special attention on the development of wind power that it was improved as the new emerging strategic industry and was listed in the county’s “twelfth five-year” plan. On one hand, Linwu county entrusted Central South Survey and Design Institute to figure out “development plan of Linwu county’s wind resources” and entrusted Hunan Electric Power Research Institute to figure out “electricity delivery plan of 0.694million kilowatts generated by Linwu county’s wind power group”, both of which were agreed and approved by Hunan Electric Power Company. On the other hand, Linwu county kept optimizing the investment condition of the projects, some famous enterprises as China Resources, Xiangdian Group, China Power Group, Hunan Xiangtou Holding Group, and etc. were introduced into the county to invest on the development of wind power resources.

Till now, 2.6billion yuan investment has been fulfilled in Linwu county on the wind power projects. 0.3million kilowatts installed power capacity has been completed in the county, which generated 610million kilowatt hour electricity. All of those indicated that great achievements were gained by Linwu county on the improvement of wind power industry.
