It was learned from Guiyang Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau that 5 villages of county as Gantang village of Heye town, Dijie village of Taihe town, Miaoxia village of Yangshi town, Dawan village of Liantang town and Wei’s village of Longtan sub-district were enrolled into Chinese traditional villages directory and gained 15.60million yuan central financial assistance to improve their infrastructure construction and environment condition.

It was introduced that traditional village refers to the village has some tangible and intangible heritages which are with high historical, cultural, scientific, art, social and economic value. 72 villages of Hunan province were covered into that directory, but only 19 of which gained with the central financial assistance. 6 villages of the 19 were from Chenzhou city. Except Banliang village which was from Gaoting town of Yongxing county, the rest 5 traditional villages were from Guiyang county.
