It was learned from Chenzhou Municipal Association of Industry and Commerce that both Chenzhou municipal level and county level association of industry and commerce won two honors for the first time: Chenzhou Municipal Association of Industry and Commerce won the first prize on the assessment of organization work of associations of industry and commerce of Hunan province; and Guiyang County Association of Industry and Commerce and Zixing City Association of Industry and Commerce were entitled as Hunan provincial demonstration of “five good” associations of industry and commerce. It highly indicated Chenzhou city’s achievements on promoting the organization, mobilizing the vigorous and serving the economic development of merchant chambers.

In recent years, Chenzhou kept handling “six one”activity on construction of merchant chambers . “Six one” refers to one strong leading group, one fixed office, one full time secretary-general, one full set of regulatory, one regulated annual meeting, and one project. Along with the improvement of the activity, the self-management skills of associations of industry and commerce were upgraded gradually, which highly indicated the vigor and vitality of non-governmental chambers. At the meantime, the merchants chambers work together to join in the industrial transformation, city development, transportation construction and undertaking industrial transfer of Chenzhou city. Currently, there are 217 different merchant chambers available in Chenzhou city. More than 4000 members are subordinate members. Over 6billion yuan was placed by the subordinate merchant chambers on over 50 projects of Chenzhou city. The businesses of merchant chambers cover more than 40 industries.

Now, Chenzhou city were implementing the establishment activity of “five good brand merchant chamber” ( five good refers to good regulation, good utility, good economy, good public service, and good image) among the merchant chambers of counties and districts of Chenzhou city and the subordinate merchant chambers of Chenzhou Municipal Association of Industry and Commerce. It aimed to establish 30-50 “five good brand merchant chambers” in 3 years.
