Since 2010, Dingxiang Tea has built tea planting bases in Nuanshui Town, and the town government has focused on developing tea industry, and promoted the development of Dingxiang Tea from ecological planting to deep processing, brand marketing, industrial tourism and other business models, achieving transformation and upgrading. 

 

With the support of the local government, Dingxiang Tea transferred 1,280 mu (about 85.33 hectares) of land in local villages such as Baixi, Beishui and Jiyu. Luyang Town, Quanshui Town and other places were organized to plant more than 920 mu (about 61.33 hectares) of tea. 

 

 

By 2022, the planting area of Dingxiang Tea in the whole county reached more than 3,800 mu (about 253.33 hectares).

 

At the same time, enterprises are guided to establish a cooperative base covering 6,000 mu (400 hectares) with farmers. It pays more than 9 million yuan in tea picking wages every year to villagers, purchases more than 5 million yuan in fresh tea leaves, and produce tea up to 300,000 kg.
