The Hunan (Guangdong) Intelligent Household Manufacturing Industrial Park of Guiyang County is a hive of activity. At Hunan Churong Furniture Technology Co., Ltd., with several machines in operation, workers are busy with foreign trade orders. 

 

“We are now engaged in a 2-million-US dollar order from North America. By the end of this month, we will have had more than 10 containers to be shipped to European and American countries through rail-sea intermodal transportation,” said Liao Xiren, general manager of the company.

 

Hunan Churong Furniture Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech furniture production enterprise that integrates research and development, production, and sales. This year, the orders received have been scheduled till May of this year, with a total amount exceeding 50 million yuan. 

 

“Our company has sufficient orders this year and the market environment is getting better and better. Our target for this year is the annual output value of 300 million yuan,” said Liao Xiren.

 

Besides, in Chenzhou Shida Furniture Co., Ltd., hundreds of workers are working overtime for orders from the Middle East, with a total amount exceeding 4 million yuan. As of now, the orders have risen by 45% in total compared to the same period last year, with overseas orders up 30%. This year, the company also plans to increase 30% of technical workers to further explore the foreign trade market. 

 

“At present, we are occupied with the order from the Middle East. We will continue to enhance our brand awareness and reputation, and explore international markets to achieve high-quality development, contributing to the development of the industrial chain in Guiyang High-tech Zone,” said Liu Aiping, deputy general manager of the company.

 

The Hunan (Guangdong) Intelligent Household Manufacturing Industrial Park is the first furniture industry project in Hunan Province to connect with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan. By 2025, it is expected that there will be more than 100 enterprises in the park, with an annual output value exceeding 30 billion yuan.
