It was learned from the evaluation results of Hunan county economy, Guiyang county, Chenzhou city ranked number nine among other Hunan counties. It is the first time for the county to be one of the top 10 in Hunan province.

In 2011, the county focused on the project construction to promote economy’s scientific leapfrog development. Fine processing projects and key projects were launched successfully with the 14.5 billion yuan social fixed capital investment, up 36.6%. The contribution rate to economy increase came to 77%, which contributed to 12% GDP growth and further enhanced the county’s economy comprehensive power. In 2011, GDP in Guiyang county hit 20.02 billion yuan, up 15.7%; general financial revenues amounted to 1.552 billion yuan, increased by 40.2%; the per-capita net income of rural residents and the per-capita disposable income of city dwellers hit 8655 yuan and 18139 yuan with the growth rate of 23.6% and 14.5% separately. Guiyang County’s total economic indicators and rates of increase were in the front of Chenzhou city, some of its work even can be listed in the top ones of Hunan province and China.

At the end of July, the county had once again proven the strength of the county’s economic development. Its GDP and general financial revenue hit 11 billion and 1.094 billion yuan separately, which increase by 14.5% and 25%. Now, the economy development of Guiyang County keeps stable and fast.
