It was learned from Guiyang Industrial Park Management Committee that its expansion plan was approved by Hunan government. According to the plan, the total areas of the park would be expanded from 0.63 square kilometers to 0.643 square kilometers.

Guiyang Industrial Park was established in 2002 which was approved as Hunan provincial industrial park in August, 2006 with the areas of 0.63 square kilometers. With years improvement, 63 above scaled industrial enterprises were settled down here with over 20 billion total industrial output value. A main and special industry system with non-ferrous metal processing industry, light & electronics industry, food & medicine industry, resources & chemical industry, and construction material & furniture industry was formed in Guiyang Industrial Park.

With the hard work during the period of“eleventh five-year plan” , the total 0.63 square kilometers areas have been fully developed till now. According to the “twelfth five-year plan”, the total industrial output value of the park would be hit 40 billion yuan with an annual growth of 40% . In order to meet this target, the most urgent issue should be settled by the park was the land.

To solve this problem, a special working team was formed to work out the expansion area place selection plan, general development plan of the park, general land utilization plan, “environment influence evaluation report of Hunan Industrial Park”, land utilization evaluation, feasibility study report of the expansion of industrial park, etc.. Due to all those sound preliminary work, Guiyang Industrial expansion plan was approved by Hunan government which enabled Guiyang county to carry out a new round of improvement on the new industrialization.
