Many workers give up their time for rest and work on the front line of production, striving to achieve a good start in the new year and help make Guiyang one of the nation’s top 100 counties.

 

In the workshop of Guiyang Jiaxing New Materials Co., Ltd., amid the mingling of the sounds of equipment running and glass production, pieces of high-quality glass roll off the 300-meter float glass production line that keeps rolling all the year round. 

 

The super-long glass is divided into standard-sized glass slices by a computer-controlled glass cutter, and then transported to the glass frame by a mechanical arm, waiting to be transported to downstream processing enterprises.

 

 

 

The particularity of glass production results in non-stop production equipment once it is in operation. 

 

During the Spring Festival holiday this year, the company made proper arrangements for staff shifts. Workers staggered their time for a break during off-peak hours.

 

“Due to the particularity of glass production, it usually takes eight to nine or ten years to produce in a single kiln period. This requires our workers and equipment to work continuously during the period,” said Guo Dingsong, factory director of Guiyang Jiaxing New Materials said.

 

The company is an intelligent, low-consumption and environment-friendly professional glass manufacturer, mainly engaged in R & D, production, processing and sales of glass products. 

 

Since the project started off in June 2020, the products have been very popular with customers all over the country. The annual output value has reached 500 million yuan, and the tax revenue has exceeded 30 million yuan. 

 

During the Spring Festival holiday, the company sped up production and stocked more than 4,000 tons of various products, laying a solid foundation for the performance of the first quarter of 2022.

 

“During the Spring Festival holiday, our daily output reached 600 tons, with a total of more than 20 varieties and specifications, laying a good foundation for a good

start in the first quarter. We also believe that the output and quality of products will make more progress in 2022,” Guo Dingsong said with confidence.

 

 

 

More than 1,000 workers in 10 enterprises of Guiyang County worked full steam ahead to finish their production tasks during the spring festival holiday, striving to achieve a good start in the year of the Tiger, and build a solid foundation for Guiyang to compete for one of the top 100 counties in the country.
