An inspection team led by Song Jiawu- Deputy Secretary of Hunan Provincial Politics and Law Committee visited Jiahe county, Chenzhou city for depth investigation of its political and legal work on May 22, 2013. Wang Biyuan- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Politics and Law Committee accompanied Song with this investigation.

According to the time schedule, Song and his team checked some construction projects of urban & rural integration, visited Yinxi community to learn details of community policing, mediation room and other policing issues there, and also came to Jiahe county procuratorate to check its case management center, online operation system, etc..

In recent years, due to the forceful comprehensive management of political and legal work especially the promotion of basic level safety construction handled by Jiahe county, people there felt safer ever before. Better mediation mechanism was promoted in the county to keep the stability of society. At the meantime, further legal construction was propelled there to upgrade the legal service level and keep social equality and justice. Besides those, strict regulation work was carried on the police team to improve their working style and operational capacity.

On the process of this inspection, some working report-back meetings and symposiums were held accordingly, which helped to the inspection team to get more ideas and suggestions on the improvement of political and legal work from the relative departments staffs.

Song highly affirmed the political and legal work handled by Jiahe county, especially for their upgrading of poll and mediation work. Song stated that Jiahe county government should keep economical construction to enhance people’s satisfactory on local government and should further improve the intermediation mechanism to handle the petition work and keep the social stability.
