It was the 7th “World Car-free Day” of China on September 22, 2013. In order to make better propaganda of this day, the traffic polices of Jiahe county were busy to advocate this environmental protection behavior to drivers and other citizens.

According to the statistic, there were more than 60,000 auto mobiles available in Jiahe county till the end of this August. Because of this rapid growth of autos, most of the main roads of Jiahe county were bared with high pressure for the bad traffic condition, which made people’s living condition worse.

It was introduced by the traffic police that though it was the seventh year of “Car-free Day” of China, more than 60% people of the small counties still had no idea of this kind of activity. So, most of the drivers were curious about the propaganda of “Car-free Day”handled by the traffic police of Jiahe county. Concerned for the suggestions advocated by the polices that to drive less during that day, most of the drivers were not willing to be the first one who did not drive during that day, but they expressed that if there was someone took the first step to do it, they would follow with him to do it as well.
