When reporters arrived at the construction site of Longtan-Tangcun highway of Jiahe county, 8 excavators and over 20 trucks were being operated busily by the workers. It was introduced by Xiaohong who is one of the staffs of Jiahe Transportation Bureau that the project owners pushed themselves harder by handling weekly scheduling and aim to finish the main body within this year.

From the beginning of 2016, Chenzhou city seized chance to obtain more projects and capitals. 787kms arterial highways, 3180kms rural roads, 4 key waterway projects, 13 secondary (third) bus terminals, 5 logistics centers, and etc. were enrolled into Hunan provincial “13th five-year plan” preliminarily.

In the first 5 months of 2016, 1.423billion yuan investments have been finished on the transportation projects. The closure of Chishi Bridge of Xiarong expressway has been done; the planning processes of 4 other expressways as Huangchang, Linlian, Chachang, and Guixin were being improved well; and construction of Chenzhou North exit of Jinggangao expressway were being promoted fluently. 11 continuous construction of arterial highways as S212 Huatang-Baohe road of Beihu district were kept for construction during the raining season. Concerned for the 8 new arterial highways, 192kms of the upgrading of rural roads have been completed. 7 large-scale public bus terminals and 2 secondary bus terminals were launched. More 200million yuan were finished on some key logistics projects as Huaishuxia logistics center, Jinhuang, Mingde, Huier, and etc. Preliminary work for Luishui channel (Suxian section), first phase of Changyingtou harbor of Zixing city, and some other waterway projects and security work for 800kms highways were being carried out well. 5273.87kms highways’ greening, upgrading, and maintenance work have been done.
