When reporters arrived at the construction site of the highway from Rucheng county to Yongfeng on November 4, 2014, workers were busy in operating the facilities to do the construction work. It was introduced by the project manager- Li Huosheng that in order to seize the best construction time, working plane, workers, facilities and working time were doubled during this period. Currently, 6kms asphalt pavements were finished, which was purposely to meet the deadline of the end of this year.
From this January to October, the amount of investments which was finished on Chenzhou city’s transportation projects was amounted to 6.787billion yuan, ranking the advanced place of Hunan province. Yueru expressway was processed to final stage; Guixin expressway was on the process of preliminary design and investment negotiation; and Linlian expressway’s working plan can be finished soon while Hunagchang’s plan has been submitted for approval. 11 of the rest 15 highway projects of “twelfth five-year plan” were proceed to pavement construction. The upgrading project of 107 national road has been almost finished. The evaluation and approval work for 16 new highway projects with 330kms long roads has been finished. The highway project from Yijiang to Reshui, Rucheng county has almost been finished. Rural roads projects have been completed in advance with 446.5kms, equaling to 104.1% Hunan provincial task. 2011kms highway channel greening work has been done, equaling to 111% of annual task. 443kms highway lighting-up work has been finished. The work for dangerous bridges reconstruction, field construction and some other construction projects out of plan was being accelerated as well.
In order to make sure the three-year transportation construction project to be completed successfully, all the departments strictly followed the requirements presented on the third on-site scheduling conference of transportation construction to handle the work. They kept to carry out the scheduling every week, handle different kinds of “labor contests” and “battles”, go to the construction site to solve some problems hindered on the way of further promotion, and etc. All the projects owners and construction sites increased workers, facilities, working plan and working time to handle the construction work with more specified requirements and with inverted time schedule. At the meantime, the quality and safety supervision department followed the relative requirements to enhance their supervision work. Other relative departments dispatched some staffs to carry the green-channel work and help to promote the preliminary work for the new projects increased for “twelfth five-year plan”.
