It was learned from Yongxing county that according to NDRC and the State Finance Ministry’s official file, Yongxing national cyclic economy industry park was listed as one of the third batch’s national “city mineral” demonstration bases. Besides the newly approved national park, Yongxing is also awarded with other national tile as “silver city of China”, “national cyclic economy pilot unit- renewable resources processing base”, and “national rare & precious metals recycling industrialization base”.
Yongxing county is with over 300 history in recycling smelt of gold and silver. In recent 10 years, 18000tons of silver, 53tons of gold, 450tons of indium, 25000tons of bismuth, 30tons of platinum group metals and other non-ferrous metals amounting to over 1.3 million tons were recycling smelted from “the three wastes” and “city mineral”. Yongxing cyclic economy Industry Park is consisted of fined processing & service platform, Bodong comprehensive smelt zone, and Taihe smelt recovery zone with 14.3 square kilometers. Now more than 20 rare & precious non-ferrous metals recycling projects and waste residue innocent treatment projects like Bi&Te comprehensive recycling of Zhongde Group have been established in the park. Its businesses are not constrained in China domestic market, but extended to some other countries like Russia and Southeast Asia. The annual capacity for the park of metal recycling is about 1.2 million tons under current situation which covers about 88.9% of the total county’s capacity.
According to the planning program, the “city mineral” demonstration base of Yongxing cynic economy Industry Park is with 10.45 billion yuan total investment and will be carried out by two phases in 5 years. It was planned to be built as the biggest “city mineral” rare & precious recycling industrialization base of China. Once finished in 2016, the annual recycling capacity of the “city mineral” resources with rare & precious metals of the demonstration base will be increased to 13.8 million tons, which will contribute about 2 billion taxes income to the county. Among them are newly increased 10.5 million tons “city mineral” resources and 0.32 million tons of rare & precious metals and other non-ferrous metals recycling.
