On June 7, when interviewed by Hunan TV reporters concerning about working style rectification, Xiang Lili, the Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee stated that Chenzhou government would follow the central and provincial spirit to keep carrying out cadre working style construction with long term mechanism and practical efficiency.

Corruption is recognized to be one of the world's greatest challenges. It is a major hindrance to sustainable development, with a disproportionate impact on poor communities and is corrosive on the very fabric of society. He Guoqiang wrote on the instructions: “Led by Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government, Chenzhou drew the experience from the corruption case to enhance power management, well-being improvement, and working style rectification and now ranked into the first place on economic & social development of Hunan province; the delighted changes fully convinced that it was a well-accepted way to keep fighting with corruption, and it is also good for preserving the Party and government image, improving economic and social development, and maintaining social stability.”

Xiang Lili said in an interview: “Anti-corruption work saw remarkable achievements due to the efforts of leaders both from the central and provincial, which is a great encouragement to Chenzhou government for the work affirmation from central government. Chenzhou government will follow the central and provincial spirit to keep carrying out cadre working style construction with long term mechanism and practical efficiency.”

Xiang also stated that the cadre working style construction was an eternal topic for the government and the understanding of anti-corruption policies, creation of solutions as well as the appreciation of the seriousness of the problem had improved among people. Chenzhou government should enhance the working style rectification to propel Chenzhou’s development by seizing national great improvement chance and providing assurance of organization for Chenzhou’s sustainable development. Good cadre team with good working style is the guarantee for the local economy and society development. Chenzhou government should keep upgrading the Party and government public credit and forging a new public image by the forced working style rectification. All of those would help the government propel local economic and social sustainable development with strong charisma, cohesion, and appeal.

“Cadre working style rectification will never be ended. The government should build a long-acting mechanism to keep its long term and efficient use. It was learned that a special study about the comment of He Guoqiang was held by Chenzhou municipal Disciplinary Committee Standing Committee. In the enlarged conference of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, the comment was delivered to every participant. Examination, auditing, inspection, prosecution and co-operation among relevant agencies should be improved. Mistakes during the management also need to be identified to contain corruption.
